Alishade Aluminium thermal shade cloth:

2m x 4m pack

4m x 4m pack

Not only provides cooling shade, it reflects the suns heat so the temperature under the covered area is even cooler - reducing sun and heat stress for plants, people, livestock.

At night, the reverse happens - infrared heat loss absorbed by the ground during the day is reflected back down, resulting in a warmer glasshouse/covered area at night.

Research has proven that reflective shade cloths are superior to non reflective shade cloths (black shade cloth being the worst as it absorbs and transmits the sun's heat downwards) ...

Air and water permeable - allows natural air and water movement

Shading effect - reduction of sunlight (50%)

UV stable Aluminiumised HDPE for NZ conditions

Lockstitch to prevent unraveling at cut ends

Life expectancy, typically we say around 4 years when used as a cover 24/7 but we have had clients use it for up to 5/6 years.

It's easy to handle and does a fantastic job.

Ideal for glasshouses, glass conservatories, small shelters, canopies, drape application, lining frames and anywhere there is a need to create cool shade during the day.

Photo 3 - showing how Alishade can be draped over a 8 x 10 glasshouse roof to provide sun/heat protection over summer. Just use strong clothes pegs to attach Alishade to the roof and side frame ridges. This method can also be applied to glassed conservatories where Alishade can be stapled or pegged to the inside framework under the glass.

Makes a huge difference with sun/heat dissipation.
